About the Opportunity
In this role, you will inherit a thriving, global operation, experiencing month on month growth. You will utilize your organizational prowess and improve our key motivators for success for both leaders and individual contributors alike. We are looking for a process-oriented people enthusiast, who is thrilled at the opportunity to enhance our People Ops structures.
Business Process Optimization Projects: business travel administration, device management, and asset inventory control.
Event Planning & Hosting: Town Hall Meetings, employe milestones, off-sites, celebrations, virtual socials, happy hours, etc
Facilitate our onboarding & off-boarding journeys for new hires globally.
Take the lead as Subject Matter Expert for all things concerning our HRIS (Personio).
Contract management: generate new offers, employment contracts, extensions and contract amendments, as well as upkeep personnel files.
Guide the leadership team in navigating our performance management framework, ensuring that review cycles and bonus/raise protocols are in line with framework schedules.
Guide internal stakeholders on navigating all regulatory matters; from GDPR compliance to statutory regulations that govern employment contracts.
Be the main point of contact for the Foreign Authority in Germany, and spearhead end-to-end administration of work permit applications for employees necessitating sponsorship to work in Germany.

1-2 years of HR Generalist experience within a high performance, agency or startup setting.
Exposure to working in a distributed team setup that effectively collaborates asynchronously.
You constantly stay up-to-date with changes in labour legislation and independently research best practices for People Operations processes.
A natural ability to think outside the box and approach problems creatively.
Native-level German skills, in both verbal and written form. Business Professional-level of English.
Finesse in maneuvering within ambiguity and a humble approach to learning on the job.
Experience working with Personio and/or 15five is a plus.
